Why we should repeat outfits?

In a world where everything can be seen on social media I understand why you might not want to wear the same outfit twice especially
if it’s on Instagram. On occasions, I have worn outfits once and found it at the back of my cupboard years later.

But do we not all have access to a washing machine? Why do we find it such a big deal? For the last few months, my sister and I have
worn countless outfits. To the point yesterday, I asked her what she was going to wear to our friends drinks and she replied with “the
usual”. There must be a happy medium between “the usual” and the back of the cupboard.

Sometimes we create so many memories in these clothes and we are not ready to give them up just yet, even if we do not particularly
plan to wear that outfit again. This can be especially true with heavy Indian outfits. Making memories at close friends’ weddings or at
Diwali or Navratri with family and friends can be incredibly precious and personally I associate those good times with the outfits I have
worn on those occasions.

We wanted to be able to create a community where others could also create these same great memories in the clothes that we love so
much.
